Meet Fiona
A little Hope for Health
A little about me ...
Professionally
My name is Fiona. I am a UK-qualified doctor and within the NHS I work part-time as a GP.
Outside of the NHS I am working here, through Hope-for-Health, to offer a more empowering, holistic nutrition and lifestyle option based on the best available evidence.

Personally
I have always cared for others and out world:
-
For people and their health - I wanted to be a Doctor from the age of 2, and have supported charities fighting homelessness for years
-
For animals and how they are treated - I joined the RSPCA and NAVS as a teenager
-
For the environment and our treatment of it - I am a member of several environmental and sustainability charities.
I have also always loved cooking.
By joining the Real Food Campaign, when it was first setting up I have learned about the importance of soil health, and natural animal care in the nutrition loads of our crops and livestock. My lifestyle and nutrition practice allows me to combine these passions of truly caring for you and the world we live in simultaneously

DISCLAIMER
Please note that in all the work I undertake privately (services within this website) I am not working in the role of a doctor. You will still need your own GP and I may refer you back to them for certain issues.

I am undertaking constant updating and am a member of the British Society of Ecological Medicine (BSEM). I am planning to obtain further qualifications from them and also from the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine over the next couple of years. I am a member of the British Association for Holistic Medicine and Healthcare (BHMA) and an Ambassador for both the Real Food Campaign (RFC) and the Public Health Collaboration (PHCUK). I take the health of both people and the planet seriously and understand how they effect each other. I strive to keep both in mind with my advice.
