Do things happen for a reason?

Do things happen for a reason when we behave as we should and when we don’t? Sometimes it is hard to figure out what the right thing to do is, but other things are clearer. Two things clear to me are we need to be kind to others and take good care of ourselves even if not perfectly. Doing so makes us feel and function better, able to work and help others more effectively, possibly helps us live longer to be there for friends and family and above all honors God and shows gratitude for the life and health He has given us. Practice kindness to yourself and others. After practicing, kindness becomes a habit. By being kind to others, we are actually taking care of ourselves. Kindness causes us to be calmer, which helps settle nerves and blood pressure.

We can take care of ourselves in other ways too - - by exercising regularly, getting lots of fresh air, rest and some sunshine. Eat a healthy diet rich in fresh fruits and vegetables. Drink plenty of pure water and other healthy liquids. One thing that helps me drink enough liquids is drinking freshly juiced fresh fruits and vegetables. This also helps supply added fruit and vegetable servings to benefit health. You can prepare your favorite smoothie recipes, protein shakes and sorbet recipes with enzyme-rich ingredients using multifunctional juicers like Champion Juicer and one of the best blender models like Vita-Mix and Blendtec Blender. Juicing fresh fruits and vegetables also has the benefit of fast absorption and healing along with concentrated nutrients. Doing the juicing yourself rather than going to your local health food store, if they even offer this at all, gives you the choice of what to juice and the convenience of not having to make a trip to the store. It also saves a lot of time and money. Consume even greater amounts of concentrated nutrients by dehydrating fresh fruits, vegetables and soaked nuts, seeds and grains using a food dehydrator. Soaking sprouting seeds increases the enzymes elevating healing capacity. Do these things to experience potentially powerful and effective healing.

Perhaps things do happen for a reason. It is hard for some of us to believe God is working behind the scene when bad things happen, but I think it is true even when we cannot see the reason. The Bible tells us David led a prosperous life as king after his long life on the run. He certainly was not perfect. None of us is perfect and never will be, but we can try to the best we can to try to live in God’s will. Things that are clear to me – be kind to others and ourselves by doing the best job possible to treat our body in the healthiest way we can.
