Cold Feet A Wheatgrass Juicer Could Be A Solution
January 19, 2010

If you often have cold feet, anemia could be the cause. A simple solution may relieve the condition whether you are in the at-risk group or not. The most effective solution of is to drink wheatgrass juice made with your very own wheatgrass juicer. Experience many other benefits at the same time.
Numerous possible causes for cold feet exist. Anemia, a deficiency of red blood cells, is one of a number of possible causes. There are many types and causes of anemia. Worldwide, iron deficiency anemia ranks highest as the most common type. Hemoglobin production, dependent on iron, permits the transport of oxygen to cells and tissue.
Iron can be a concern for many including vegetarians and vegans. Other substances such as vitamin B12 and folate put vegetarian and vegans at risk as well. However, most vegetarians and vegans consume enough iron since most consume a wide variety and adequate amounts of fresh fruits and vegetables. Everyone should be sure to consume lots of fresh fruits and vegetables to boost health.
Those at greatest risk of iron deficiency anemia:- alcoholics from low vitamin and mineral consumption and decreased red blood cell production
- people suffering from blood loss from heavy menstruation, wounds, ulcers or cancer
- kidney disease victims with low erythropoietin hormone production needed to make red blood cells
- pregnant women who gain water weight
- individuals who absorb B12 inefficiently
- people suffering from diseases like sickle cell anemia, Thalassemia or leukemia
- individuals receiving treatments like chemotherapy or other medications
Possible solutions for cold feet:- Move to a warmer climate. This is not an option for most of us.
- Heat socks in microwave for 30 seconds to 1 minute. This is a convenient quick, temporary fix.
- Increase circulation by exercising or at least getting up and walking around periodically if you sit still for long periods such as in front a computer or at a desk.
- Treat the condition or disease that may be causing the problem in the first place.
- Increase circulation with cayenne pepper and/or ginkgo*.
- Increase circulation by increasing hemoglobin. The easiest way I know is to do this is to drink wheatgrass juice.
Anemia decreases oxygen delivery to the cells and tissues, which makes any condition worse. Conversely, wheatgrass juice increases the delivery of oxygen, which benefits virtually any health condition, including anemia.
Oxygen-rich wheatgrass juice is superior to other green plants since it is made up of 70% oxygen-rich chlorophyll and consists a multitude of minerals we need.
Some Wheatgrass Juice Benefits:- anti-bacterial
- decreased inflammation
- detox
- flushes drugs from the body
- helps prevent graying of hair
- helps prevent tooth decay
- increases red blood cells
- provides better sleep
- purification of the liver
- reduces the severity of varicose veins
- slows down aging
- stimulates metabolism promoting weight loss
- tightens skin and beautifies skin
Wheatgrass juice is safe and simple to drink. Even if the cause of cold feet were not from anemia, wheatgrass juice might help since wheatgrass juice increases oxygenation benefiting just about any condition.
*Ginkgo thins blood. Do not take ginkgo with certain medications like drugs that thin blood. There are other contraindications as well. Consult your health care provider to see if it is right for you.
