After totally renovating the website and dealing with some spoofing (someone who sent out this newletter with showy advertising to unsubscribed email addresses as if it were from Hope for Health, LLC) your free newsletters now resumes. Most of the products have been hidden, but not removed. If you have any those hidden pages bookmarked, you can still get in. Or you may email sales@hope-for-health.com if you are interested in items not appearing (books not appearing, additional Learn pages, essential oils, personal care products, herbs, accessories, etc.). The hope is to provide you with valuable information to help with improving your health as well as prompt service and updates. It is good to be back!

Here are 3 natural ways to help you stay well during flu season that go beyond the basics. Consume concentrated, enzyme-rich nutrients to supply an abundance of antioxidants, phytochemicals and healing properties. Drink plenty of nutrient-dense fluids from freshly juiced produce to allow the body to quickly absorb and retain vital elements important for staying well. Eat and drink a wide variety of nutrients from diverse sources to maintain a balanced diet for optimal health. If you do these three things on top of the basics, you tremendously improve your chances to stay well during flu season.

Let’s face it -- most of us struggle to get it all right all the time. We may exercise and get enough rest. We may get sunshine and fresh air. We may avoid drugs, alcohol and tobacco. We may even eat only healthy whole food. But do we do it all the time or in a balanced way? Chances are for most of us the answer is no. Is there anything we can do to help protect ourselves during times of higher vulnerability like during cold and flu season? In my view, of course there is.

We all already know the basics about how to stay well during flu season. The basics include:
  • Avoiding getting sick by avoiding exposure to germs
  • By washing your hands frequently
  • Covering your mouth when sneezing or coughing; hopefully others will too
  • Avoiding people, especially sick people
  • Avoiding drugs, tobacco and alcohol which can lower your resistance
  • Getting plenty of rest
  • Getting enough exercise
  • Getting lots of fresh air
  • Getting some sunshine
There is more to staying well under tough circumstances than just avoiding the negatives, getting rest, fresh air, exercise and sunshine. We need to do more than the basics. We need to not only avoid junk food, but also consume super charged nutrition. This helps protect the body naturally so the body is able to fight off infection and stay well during flu season. What the body needs to protect itself is:
  • Concentrated, enzyme-rich nutrients
  • Plenty of nutrient-dense fluids
  • A wide variety of nutrients from diverse sources
Enzymes have the power to speed healing and protect the body from free radicals and disease organisms. Concentrate nutrients by juicing enzyme-rich fresh fruits and vegetables. This supplies the body with nutrient-dense fluids to help protect and nourish cells as well as flush toxins out of the body. The best, easiest way to consume a wide variety of concentrated nutrients is to use a juicer that juices both fruits and vegetables.

For maximum nutrition and enzyme concentration, consume sprouts, the epitome of the perfect super food. Sprouting grains, seeds, beans and legumes helps to ensure enzyme-rich nutrition and provides alternative food sources for a more balanced diet. Eat sprouts in salads, on sandwiches and some even juice well. You can even dehydrate the sprouts and grind them to make flour.

Here are a few ways to extract great nutrition economically to stay well during flu season naturally. A centrifugal ejection juicer like L'Equip 215 XL Juicer juices both fruits and vegetables. It is very affordable, easy to clean and requires less chopping. You can even juice small to medium size apples whole. For more efficiency, single and twin gear juicers like Samson and Green Star Juicers yield more juice. The juice quality is higher as well because the RPMs are lower producing less friction. These juicers do require more chopping, fruits must be very firm and they do cost more. Grow sprouts using a value-packed Food PANtrie Dehydrator, which doubles as a sprouter, is very affordable, requires no electricity and is free to operate.

If you follow the above advice regularly, you get:
  • Natural nutrition
  • Long-term benefits
  • A greater likelihood of a strengthened immune system
  • A greater likelihood to stay well during flu season
  • A greater likelihood of a healthier you
If it’s too late you are already sick, get better faster using these same techniques.

Beyond avoiding exposure and getting rest, exercise, fresh air and sunshine, you can improve your chances to stay well during flu season by
  • Consuming concentrated, enzyme-rich nutrients from
  • Drinking lots of nutrient-dense fluids made with juicers that juice variety like
    • L'Equip 215 XL Juicer for juicing fruits and vegetables
    • Samson Juicer for juicing some very firm fruit, leafy greens and wheatgrass that produces higher quality juice
    • Green Star Juicer for some very firm fruits, leafy greens and wheatgrass that produces the highest quality juice
  • Consuming a wide variety of nutrients from diverse sources
Stay well during flu season this year and do it naturally!
