What are the benefits of drinking wheatgrass juice? How can anyone tolerate the taste? There are numerous wheatgrass health benefits. People drink wheatgrass juice to improve digestion and blood sugar levels as well as even help fight cancer. Some people tolerate the taste easily, especially since individuals usually only consume a small amount at a time. Others can hardly stand the taste or smell. The way to overcome this is to mix it with a more palatable juice or beverage.

Oxygen is critically important to our brain and body. Oxygen-rich blood transports nutrients to the body more efficiently and aids detoxification. Wheatgrass consists of 70% oxygen-rich chlorophyll. The healing power of wheatgrass largely may be attributed to the high oxygen content of chlorophyll. This high oxygen concentration of chlorophyll cleanses, revitalizes and expels toxins from our body. Other constituents in wheatgrass contribute to healing as well. Wheatgrass consists of enzymes, vitamins, trace minerals, amino acids, and other components that promote healing.

To make matters easier, you can even mix the wheatgrass juice with packaged juice rather than juicing the added ingredient yourself. Since wheatgrass juices best in a wheatgrass juicer and wheatgrass juicers are strictly for wheatgrass only, you may not want to clean two separate juicers. If you decide it is not worth the trouble, it may be best to mix the wheatgrass juice with package juice rather than not drink the wheatgrass juice at all.

    Take advantage of wheatgrass benefits from alertness to catching some Zs. If you are worried about the taste of wheatgrass, solutions exist. Simply juice your favorite juice and mix it with the wheatgrass juice. If you would rather not clean two juicers, mixing the wheatgrass juice with a packaged juice may be better than doing without the wheatgrass juice completely.
