UPS Shipping Insurance for Declared Values $700.01 to $800.00 for Shipping within the US
Shipping insurance insures against loss, damage, or missing contents. UPS covers shipping insurance for products with values up to $100.00 for free. Products with values greater than $100.00, may be insured for additional fees. Shipping insurance is not only advised in case something happens in route, it is also required for certain products. If something did happen to your shipment and you did not have insurance, the item could not be reshipped without repayment. This small fee protects you, your package, and helps ensure continued lower costs to you, the valued customer. Shipping insurance is required for some products, but is optional for others.
