Welles People's Press                                                (See shipping info below.)

Juice pressing was first popularized in the early 1900's by Norman Walker, who preferred pressing over centrifugal juicing to get the vital nutrients from vegetables. In fact, he thought juice pressing was necessary to stay well.

After juicing from traditional juicing, there is often juice left in the pulp that may be salvaged by pressing the pulp to capture additional vitamins, minerals and enzymes. The hydraulic pressure releases these healing nutrients from the pulp to further enhance immune function and cell regeneration.

To Press Pulp:
Place the pulp in the pressing cloth that is provided. Fold the cloth over the pulp and put it on the tray. The tray is raised by pumping the handle up and down for 10-15 seconds. This action allows the juice to flow into collecting jar.

For Easy Clean-up:
Slide the tray and press plate out and rinse in warm water. Rinse out the pressing cloth in warm water as well and place in the freezer to keep sterile.

Expect a considerable amount of extra juice extracted from pulp of juicers:
Omega/Acme 15%-30%
Champion 40%-55%
