Dilute essential oils before applying to the skin as a safety precaution as well as a common courtesy to others. Add a light dilution of 1% essential oil to a carrier such as vegetable oil, mineral bath salts, pure water, or unscented bath products such as shampoo, conditioner, or shower gel for a subtle but powerful effect.
