Essential Oils for Travel
Traveling can be stressful - especially if there are the added difficulties of motion sickness or anxiety over transportation, accommodations, or routine changes. Essential oils can easily help reduce tension, nervous stomach, and enhance travel enjoyment.
Take What Works
Before traveling, experiment to discover the essential oils personally most effective for calming nerves, lifting spirits, or relieving nausea. Take a limited selection of oils on the trip. Screw tops on securely, tape the neck of the bottles, and place them in a zip lock bag. Don't forget to pack an aromatherapy diffuser and a handkerchief for scenting, too. Sachets are another way to carry aromas in a suitcase or purse. Car diffusers and diffuser necklaces are an option as well. Be aware of the feelings and needs of others who may be sensitive to the scents, particularly in closed areas like a car. A relaxing aroma that could cause the driver to fall asleep.
