Clay Masks
Most of us do not have perfect skin, but we can try our best to do what we can to improve what we have. Make skin healthier by using any of these Clay Masks. Two of the clay masks have healing botanicals like lavender flowers, comfrey leaves, and calendula flowers added for increased benefits. For the best facials, make your own recipes. Combine the various clays with each other and with different ground herbs, teas, flowers, and essential oils for 1000 facials. (Remember essential oils need to be diluted due to their powerful concentration.) These facial recipes will act as food for healthy skin.
Clay powders have even been used as mineral baths by themselves to relieve arthritis, skin irritations, sore muscles, and for sunburn treatment. Add one half cup of powdered French Green Clay Powder to a tub of warm water. Or try this free mineral bath recipe.

Muscle soreness is now thought to be caused by trauma to the micro fibers of the muscles, not lactic acid build up as once believed. First treat the causes of sore muscles by avoiding it when possible. To do this, gradually build up strength and endurance by starting with less strenuous exercises for a short period of time. Gradually build up difficulty of exercises and increase duration. When muscle soreness does occur or for skin health and/or relaxation, use bentonite clay, one of the other clay powders, or your own custom formula as a mud pack or in a mineral bath.
All of these clay powders are easy to use.
1) Simply, wash face with warm water and soap so the clay mask can reach deep into the pores.
2) Pat face dry.
3) Add a small amount of water or strong herbal tea infusion to the clay powder to moisten and make facial goo.
4) Spread on face and neck area, avoiding the eyes.
5) Leave clay mask on long enough to dry, usually 15 to 20 minutes or less depending on how thickly applied.
As the clay mask dries, it pulls out impurities and dead skin, tightening pores.
6) Rinse with cool water to further tighten. Rinsing helps wash away oil, dirt, and dried dead skin deep in the pores, leaving fresh, clean, non-oily skin and a healthier, smoother face.
7) Pat dry.
